Icon Mechanical’s rapid growth led to the need for a 41,000-square-foot expansion of its current headquarters. Gray designed the new two-story office building directly adjacent to their former office and shop facilities.

Contemporary Exterior
The tilt-up concrete exterior includes a subtle blend of neutral colors with Icon’s red branding accents in corrugated metal fabricated onsite.

The new space is highly collaborative with several work cafés, an open lobby and lounge with a monumental stair and a hospitality conference space.
Maximizing Natural Light
Daylighting was a driving factor in the design, with three large skylights running along the center of the building, allowing natural light down through two atriums and into the first level.
