Challenge + Solution
A key design challenge was executing three phases and seven relocation sequences while maintaining continuous operations. Gray reoriented the production flow by 90° without disrupting ongoing activities, making sure the entire facility remained functional during construction.
Inviting Spaces
Gray designed the lobby and amenity spaces as welcoming and comfortable places for employees. Architectural details, such as wave acoustical tiles to mitigate space and wood slats within the exposed ceilings, bring dimension and create designated quiet areas.
Vibrant Atmosphere
The employee entrance leads into Louie’s, an open, airy cafe that also serves as a hub for team members to gather for casual meetings.
Integrated Access
The bright and open office offers access to the labs and testing facility, while the conference rooms overlook the atrium.
