CRE: Community Impact Award Finalist 2022

Congratulations to Living The Word Church on being a finalist for the ‘Commercial Real Estate Community Impact Awards!’ This growing congregation that offers community service - including feeding the needy across the Metro East and bolstering literacy rates in East Saint Louis - needed a new space to fulfill their mission. They asked Gray to transform the vacant former Wild Country nightclub into a reimagined worship space with a 650-seat auditorium, classrooms for children’s ministries, a tech room, coffee bar, lounge areas and administrative offices for staff. Our interiors studio integrated bright, clean and branded interiors to provide a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere for members and guests. Not only is this congregation positively impacting the community, but the project created 103 jobs during demo and construction! Proud to be a part of positive progress!
